'Lo Ckmo, are you a high-sec or low-sec miner? I've been operating out of Penirgman myself - I'm a Gallentean I know, but to me it makes more sense to take ore away from the Amarr before some poor slave has to do it. What do you pilot?

Well, when I got to space and started cutting those rocks up I was suddenly hit by Miner's greed - the urge to go after the biggest rocks and grab as much as quickly. I've got myself a Retreiver barge which I strip the asteroid belts of Penirgman with.
I've hit rough times though, rookies who think they're all that and harass the Miners. I find myself training combat skills to equip destroyers I could've had days ago if I'd wanted them. Nosferatu's, Webbers, Warp Disrupters, all so I can hold my own against those who won't mine for themselves and murder my crew for their own entertainment.

Good on ya Devon. Sansha's have been the miners bane in 0.7 space since the old man's vaunted utopia collapsed. I wish Concord would finish them off once and for all.

There are plenty of miners everywhere! But it's not exactly a nine to five job. The longer you stay in the pod, the richer you become.

How that man keeps his lasers pointed at 'roids is anyone's guess if you ask me.
Any of y'all know how much ISK I can net ice mining? 5.7 mil for the ice miner's seems kinda a lot...

APT is lookin' to setup an Ice Mining operation and yours truly might get directoship of it.

I'm gonna throw it out there that you're too enthusiastic about the white stuff Doc. I've got 61,000 cubic meters sitting in my hangar at the moment packed into refrigeration vats and I just can't move them stuff! No one buys in the region, so I'll have to fly it up somewhere else, with all the attendant risks in that. Does anyone know the best regions to offload this stuff in? I'd like to make more then 100k per unit, otherwise it's just not worth the time it takes out in the fields.

Tanks man, it's all about the tanks. So long as you understand engineering, treat it right, you can power up 400mm Rolled Tungsten plates on a good barge. The mechanics love the stuff, spend all their bouncing balls of the hull just to hear how it doesn't even echo. Throw in a Small Armor Repairer and some drones, get a half-decent crew together to mind them, Sanshas, Angels, Gurista's - whatever - won't bother you right down to 0.5 sec space.
Nanotech is a beautiful thing when it's in action, though slightly less beautiful I imagine for the guys who have to crawl into the hull space between the armor and structure and clear nanite overruns.

Anyone here a fan of old weaponry? This thing was old technology even way back before the Gallente got into the sky. I think it's got some charm to it. Based on some old spec called .357, but no one's got any ideas what those numbers might mean. Has a nice heft to it though, I like to keep it in the pod with me while I'm out in the belts. Nothing worse then docking and having Amarrian thugs mess with you at a station.

Macro'ers? What the hell are you talking about? Though there does seem to be a lot of guys out there who fall asleep at the wheel...
